There are several lovely walks in the immediate area and many more within a few minutes drive.

The small town of Yarmouth has some fascinating shops and art galleries and is a mecca for yachtsmen. Solent cruises are available during the summer months, as are trips to the nearby Needles, as well as to the mainland. Bicycle hire is also available from there for the more energetic and the Isle of Wight is renowned for its network of cycle tracks and paths away from the beaten track.

The area is well served with pubs and eateries within a short driving distance and Yarmouth has everything from traditional fish & chips take away to a Michelin starred restaurant.
